Ms. Bharti Khanna is a pharmacist by qualification holding a master’s degree in Pharmaceutics. She has also specialized in Marketing Management.
Ms. Bharti Khanna has 25+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, she is into consulting since the last five years. Her primary area of expertise is in generic pharmaceuticals, where she provides strategic, regulatory and scientific consulting to clients interested in catering to India, US, EU, Australia, Canada, APAC and other international markets. She has extensive experience in research & development, scale-up and technology transfer, manufacturing, project management, global regulatory affairs, GMP and compliance covering all activities from ideation to execution of launch of products.
Her abilities are also in the areas of establishing a corporate framework of standards and strategies, ensuring compliance, documentation, processes and systems. She has conducted quality audits, prepared organizations for inspections as well as supported cGMP inspections and approvals of manufacturing facilities. She is experienced in doing gap analysis and conducting due diligence for acquisitions and strategic alliances. She is also a trainer and a speaker in industry and academia seminars/conferences at national and international level. Numerous training programs have been designed and imparted by her.
In her previous roles, she was a stakeholder and COO of a German company, PharmaLex India Pvt. Ltd.; Vice President, Research & Development for Promed Research Centre; Director Project Management and Regulatory Affairs at Ranbaxy, Joint Director Regulatory Affairs at Dabur Research Foundation.
Dr. Ramesh K. Goyal

Prof. Ramesh K. Goyal is the Vice Chancellor of the first Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University of India situated in Delhi.
He was previously the Executive Director (Research & Strategies) of V ClinBio Labs Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai. He was the Vice-Chancellor of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Director (Pharmacology and Clinical Research) at NMIMS University, and Professor at L. M. College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad. He has over 40 years of experience in Teaching and Research. He was PDF and Visiting Scientist and Professor at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, University of Manitoba, Canada. He has been awarded Honorary Professor position in Stravopol Medical State University, Russia and it is the honour to second foreigner in 80 years.
He has three patents, 18 books, 26 book chapters, over 314 full papers (‘h’ index 39), over 600 abstracts published in National and International journals. He has guided 45 Ph.D. and 183 M. Pharm. Students. He is the recipient of 71 awards including Best Pharmacy Teacher and Best Pharmaceutical Research Scientist from APTI and Life Time Achievement & Distinguished Service Awards from International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences, Canada. He was invited to deliver about 223 lectures in India and 32 lectures abroad.
He wishes to encapsulate within the pharmacy profession, opportunities like Bio-markers, Biopharmaceuticals, Biosimilars, Medical Devices and other health related teaching career-oriented areas emerging out in 21st centuries. Simultaneously, he wishes to have reorientation of community-based pharmacy programs like pharmacovigilance, pharmacoeconomics, and consultant-pharmacist for some diseases like diabetes, cancer pharmacist neurological and cardiovascular diseases. He calls for cooperation and suggestions from the pharmaceutical fraternity of the country to meet his vision & mission.

Professor Popli is Dean and Officiating Registrar at Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research Institute, State university of Govt of NCT Delhi.
She is also the director of DPSRU Innovation and Incubation Foundation. She is Ex-Director Ranbaxy Research Laboratories wherein she was part of Senior Management for Strategy, Global Collaborations, Acquisitions and Licensing. She has professional accomplishment of over 30 years of experience in R&D, Academics and Industry in the field of Pharmaceuticals.
She is B.Pharm (Gold Medalist) from Delhi University in 1984, M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics with distinctions from Delhi University along with Post graduate diploma in Business Management (Gold Medalist) from IMS Delhi in 1986. She continued research in Novel drug delivery for steroidal drugs and completed Ph. D from Delhi University in 1991.
She was awarded prestigious Commonwealth fellowship in UK to pursue post-doctoral research in Manchester UK 1995-1996.
She is the author of 5 books, 3 patents and 3 chapters in the International books. She has guided more than 50 masters and PhD students . She has more than 100 research and review papers to her credit in National and International Journals.
